Wyndham Reports Record H1 Growth in Asia Pacific

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s
largest hotel franchising companies with 25 brands and
approximately 9,200 hotels, has reported record H1 growth across
the Asia Pacific region.
During the first half of the year, the company
signed more than 120 hotels in the region, opened 74 hotels and registered 8%
y-o-y net room growth, equivalent to 15,100 rooms.
Wyndham signed 22% more hotels across Asia
Pacific compared to 2023 driven by strong growth in Mainland
China, where the company signed 104 hotels.

Key openings include: Wyndham Jomtien Pattaya
(Thailand), Wyndham Garden Sonasea Van Don (Vietnam), La Quinta by
Wyndham Parnell Auckland (New Zealand), Wyndham Ion Majestic
Hotel, Genting Highlands (Malaysia) and Wyndham Garden Qionglai
Downtown (China).
The newly upgraded Microtel by Wyndham made its
debut in China in 2024, and hotels with the refreshed design
include: Microtel by Wyndham Handan New Century (pictured),
Microtel by Wyndham Xishuangbanna Mengle and Microtel by Wyndham
Qingdao Huangdao.

The company also recently expanded its retail
options, enabling guests to make reservations through the WeChat
Mini direct booking channel across the whole Asia Pacific region.
