Pedestrian struck by high-speed train in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A person suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a high-speed train Saturday evening in West Palm Beach, according to the West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD).

WPBPD responded around 7:20 p.m. to the area of Greenwood Avenue following reports of a pedestrian struck by a train.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
