One Person Transported for Medical Treatment Due to Head-On Collision on Route 50 in Harrison County

According to WDTV, a driver was transported to United Hospital Center after a head-on collision with another vehicle at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Friday, August 28, at U.S. Route 50 near Flinderation Road.

911 operators received notice of a car driving eastbound on U.S. Route 50 West, and before police were able to respond, the vehicle collided head-on with another in a construction zone.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Harrison County EMS, Salem Fire Department and Nutter Fort Fire Department all responded on the scene.
