Family Fun Extravaganza to Get Started at The Bridge Sports Complex; Event Set to Run though August 29

The Family Fun Extravaganza Festival opens this Thursday, August 20 at The Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport and will run through Saturday, August 29.

The festival brings together a huge variety of entertainment in one location, including Gambill Amusements carnival rides and midway games, the Cartoon Headquarters Fun Zone inflatable area, festival food, family activities, live entertainment and special attractions throughout the 10-day event.
And this isn’t just another carnival.
The Family Fun Extravaganza Festival was created to bring families together and give children and parents a place to make memories while supporting the local community.

The festival opens Thursday, August 20 at 4 p.m. and continues through Saturday, August 29.

OPENING NIGHT SPECIAL
The festival kicks off Thursday with a huge opening-night promotion: The first 50 children will receive a free VIP wristband for the Cartoon Headquarters Inflatable Fun Zone.
Additional specials and promotions will take place throughout the festival.
FUN WITH A PURPOSE
The Family Fun Extravaganza Festival is about more than entertainment. Proceeds from the event benefit Community Elevation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit children’s charity serving North Central West Virginia.
Every family that comes out to enjoy the festival is also helping support an organization working to make a difference for children and families in the community.
