Two-Vehicle Accident Involving Dirt Bike in Bridgeport Area Results in One Death; Investigation is Ongoing

Today, Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, at approximately 11:31 a.m., the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a two-vehicle accident involving a dirt bike on Langtown Road in the Bridgeport area.

Upon arrival at the scene, the Bridgeport Fire Department, which was already on-site, advised the Harrison County 911 Center that the crash had resulted in one fatality.

The scene was reconstructed by Chief Deputy Robert Waybright of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. At this time, the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating this incident and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
