Turkish foreign minister blasts Israel's plans to resettle Golan Heights

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan blasted Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu over his plans to expand settlements in the Golan Heights, claiming that the Israeli government was pursuing a policy of further occupying and annexing the disputed area at Syria’s southwestern edge. He rejected any comparison to Turkey’s control of northern Syria, calling it “completely irrelevant and irrational”.
