Three-Vehicle Wreck in Area Leaves Woman Dead

On April 30, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm, deputies from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a serious three-vehicle collision in the 2500 block of Grafton Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Brian Livingood of Reedsville, was traveling southbound on Grafton Road. Behind the motorcycle was a 2017 Ford F-250, also traveling southbound, driven by Jerry Robinson of Barbour County, with passenger Michael Mitchell, also of Barbour County.
A 2003 Mercury Mountaineer, operated by Chelsea Deziray Johnson of Uniontown, was traveling northbound when it crossed the center line and entered the southbound lane. Johnson’s vehicle struck the rear ofthe motorcycle, causing it to crash, and then collided head-on with the F-250.
Chelsea Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene. Brian Livingood sustained serious injuries and was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital, where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit. Jerry Robinson and Michael Mitchell were also transported to Ruby Memorial for what appear to be minor or non-life-threatening injuries.
