Three from State present their ideas for Viksit Bharat at forum in New Delhi
Three youths from State, recognised as Youth Icons by the Department of Youth Services, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, were invited to participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 held on January 11 and 12 in New Delhi.
Y. Bhargav, Anudeep Sai Muttavarapu, and Namballa Vidya Sagar were among the 200 nominated pathbreakers, who were given a platform to share their ideas and present actionable solutions for achieving Viksit Bharat 2047.
Y. Bhargav, Director of Jignasa Artverse, shared his thoughts on the pivotal role of cultural heritage in nation-building. He emphasised the untapped potential of culture tourism, heritage tourism, and spiritual tourism to boost the contribution of the tourism sector to the national GDP. India’s rich heritage, creative civilisations, traditional art forms, and spirituality have the potential to position the country as a global tourism epicentre, he said.
Anudeep Sai Muttavarapu, Director, Motorola Solutions, emphasised the transformative potential of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Blockchain in driving the country’s development. Anudeep also stressed the need for the country to invest in a Sovereign Cloud, explaining how it can secure data sovereignty and strengthen national security.
Namballa Vidya Sagar, a homeopathy practitioner, led discussions on medical tourism through AYUSH and its role in improving the country’s social indicators. He said AYUSH has the ability to address the healthcare needs of underserved populations while contributing significantly to India’s economic growth. He stressed the need to deepen the penetration of AYUSH practices in aspirational districts like Srikakulam, which often lack access to modern healthcare facilities.
The participants had an opportunity to present their vision for Viksit Bharat 2047 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
