Suspect arrested in connection to homicide at Cumberland Towers in Little Rock



LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A suspect has now been arrested after Little Rock police discovered one person dead while responding to a criminal trespass call for service on February 21.

According to reports, police arrived at 311 E. 8th Street in response to the call for service.

Once inside the Cumberland Towers building, they discovered a man who was dead while lying on the floor inside a room.

Hours later, police were able to arrest 40-year-old Shannon Brown on a capital murder charge in connection to the homicide.

No information has been released regarding the victim’s identity or a possible cause of death.
