St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Bridgeport to Host Fourth Annual Spring Plant Sale Saturday
The entire community is warmly invited to come browse more than 50 varieties of perennials that are for sale – including some rare plants and flowers that can’t easily be found at big box stores (See the list of varieties that will be available at the bottom of the press release).
“We’re so pleased to be able to greet and visit with our community this Saturday,” said Rev. Christopher Harrison, St. John’s Pastor. “With flowers bursting into bloom and Mother’s Day right around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity to brighten your garden or find a heartfelt gift for mom. Our doors are open!”
Knowledgeable and experienced gardeners will be in attendance throughout the day to answer any and all questions and make specific plant recommendations. The event will also feature the “Planting Pals: Paint & Pot” activity where kids of all ages can paint their very own pot and plant a flower to take home. Additionally, delicious floral-themed cupcakes and cookies will be available for sale.
