Star India batter Smriti Mandhana was left in splits when Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Mr Nags, played by comedian Danish Sait, trickily asked her about her rumoured boyfriend Palash Muchhal, who is a music composer.
During the chat, Nags asked if there were any ‘plus points’ in Mandhana‘s life and then shifted to asking about ‘Palash points. ‘
Responding to the teasing, Mandhana asked, “What are Palash points?” Nags added a funny twist, replying, “You tell me, what are Palash points?” Watch the video here:
Mandhana has often been spotted with Muchhal, the younger brother of playback singer Palak Muchhal.
“I’m very shy in public and an introvert. People don’t believe it because I have a lot of friends and I’ve been on stage as well. But even when I pose for pictures at events and parties, I feel very shy,” Palash said while speaking to The Hindustan Times last year.
“I’m very proud, of course, because I am her partner, her boyfriend. I’m incredibly proud of her achievements. But I prefer to keep my personal life private. Right now, I think it’s the time to focus on work,” Palash added.
The music composer was seen watching Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s games at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in the city this season.
Palash posed for pictures with all-rounder Shreyanka Patil as well, who won the Purple Cap in WPL 2024 but was ruled out of this season because of an injury.
Meanwhile, defending champions RCB finished an otherwise disappointing season on a positive note, denying the Mumbai Indians a direct entry into the final of WPL 2025 with an 11-run victory at the latter’s home.
The result helped table toppers Delhi Capitals bag a direct berth in the final of WPL 2025, which will be held in Mumbai on Saturday, March 15, while Mumbai will take on the Gujarat Giants in the eliminator on Thursday at the same venue.
For Bengaluru, Ellyse Perry was the only star performer, scoring 372 runs in eight matches at a stunning average of 93. Georgia Wareham picked 12 wickets in as many games with a best haul of 3/21, as RCB’s Indian players didn’t turn up at their best this season.
