Six-month-old girl found dead with fatal injuries near Angamaly in Kerala

A six-month-old girl was reportedly found dead with her throat slit at Karippala in Karukutty, near Angamaly, Kerala, on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at the residence of the child’s mother.

According to reports, the infant was left in the care of her grandmother as the mother was busy in the kitchen. The child was later discovered with fatal injuries. Although the infant was rushed to a private hospital at Angamaly, she could not be saved.

The Ernakulam Rural Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
