Shedeur Sanders asked latest on Deion Sanders’ unspecified health issues, timetable on Colorado return
Deion Sanders has been dealing with an unspecified health issue and, as a result, has not attended Colorado summer football camps.
The Buffaloes coach’s son, Deion Sanders Jr., said in a YouTube livestream on Sunday that his dad was resting at his Canyon, Texas, home and “feeling well,” according to USA Today.
“He’ll tell y’all soon enough what he going through, what he went through,” the younger Sander said.
Coach Prime took to social media Tuesday but gave no indication of what is keeping him from the football facility.
“Let’s attack today with all we have,” Deion Sanders posted on X. “Let’s give today everything we got. Let’s not save ourselves for tomorrow knowing tomorrow ain’t promised. Let’s go all out, baby. I believe in you & you Believe in what God has bestowed upon u. Let’s go!”
Sanders Jr. hinted that there was no timetable on his father’s returns.
“I’m waiting until my dad leaves,” he said, per USA Today. “When he leaves, then I’ll go. Until then, I’m gonna sit here with him.”
Shedeur Sanders, meanwhile, deflected questions Tuesday during Cleveland Browns camp.
“I don’t know what’s going on,” he said. “I’m here not to talk about pops. I’m here as the quarterback of the Cleveland Browns.”
Sanders addressed his health while on Asante Samuel’s podcast on May 30.
“What I’m dealing with right now is at a whole other level,” he said. “You know what, honestly, I’ve done no media, I’ve done nothing … I’ve lost, like, 14 pounds.”
