Seoul says 300 North Korean soldiers killed, thousands wounded in Ukraine

Around 300 North Korean soldiers have been killed and 2,700 wounded fighting alongside Russia in Ukraine, a South Korean lawmaker said Monday, citing Seoul’s spy agency. Memos found on deceased soldiers revealed they had been ordered to kill themselves rather than be taken prisoner.
