The road to the Georgia Class 5A state championship runs through Thomasville Thursday night as the undefeated Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (13-0) welcome the streaking Roswell Hornets (12-1) to Jackets’ Nest Stadium for a highly-anticipated semifinal clash.
The defending state quarterfinalist Yellow Jackets have been nothing short of dominant this season, most recently dismantling Woodward Academy 49-19 in their quarterfinal matchup two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the Hornets enter on a 10-game winning streak after edging Sequoyah 42-35 in a thrilling quarterfinal contest.
