REAL ID: What you need to know



The panic to get a Real ID has caused some to give into text/email scams. Know that you must have an in-person meeting in order to get a Real ID.

PHOENIX — Real ID’s go into effect today. 

However, ADOT officials are saying if you don’t have them yet, wait until a few weeks before you travel to get one to try to alleviate MVD congestion. 

The panic to get a Real ID has caused some to give into text/email scams. Know that you must have an in-person meeting in order to get a Real ID.
