Proclamation Presented in Recognition of Domestic Violence Month by Bridgeport City Council Members

Representatives of Hope, Inc., were on hand at the Oct. 13 meeting of the Bridgeport City Council to receive a proclamation recognizing October as Domestic Violence Month.

Bridgeport Mayor Robert Matheny presented the proclamation near the start of the session. Council has annually made the proclamation to bring attention to an ongoing problem, locally, statewide, and nationally.
