Pine Bluff police limit access to city-owned parks, enforcing curfews
PINE BLUFF, Ark. — The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) put out a notice on Tuesday evening stating that, due to the recent threats of violence that have been posted on social media, they will be limiting access to all city-owned parks.
This new policy is effective immediately, and officials with PBPD say that there will be zero tolerance for any large gatherings at any city-owned parks.
Officials have made the decision to limit access to parks as a precautionary measure so they can ensure the safety of both residents and visitors alike.
Park curfews and all applicable city ordinances will be strictly enforced by police.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity is urged to contact PBPD at (870) 541-5300.
