One Injured after Truck Hit by Train in Preston County

According to WDTV, o\ne person was injured after a truck was hit by a train in Preston County Sunday night.
The incident occurred near Bank Street and Gibson Street in Tunnelton at approximately 10:44 p.m., said CSX officials.
A CSX train crashed into an unoccupied truck, and Preston County EMS was immediately notified, according to officials. EMS confirmed that the individual was out of the vehicle at the time of the incident, but he was injured.
911 officials say he was taken to Preston Memorial Hospital, but it is still unclear at this time what caused his injuries.
According to CSX, the truck driver had missed his turn, which led to him being on the tracks.
CSX also reported that there were no injuries to the train crew.
The Tunnelton Volunteer Fire Department, KAMP Ambulance and the Preston County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
