One Dead in Single-Vehicle ATV Accident in Region

On October 31, 2025, at 7:42 p.m. the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to respond to a single-vehicle ATV crash on Gougerville Road in the southern part of Upshur County.
A deputy arrived at the scene at 7:48 p.m., and the investigation is ongoing. Preliminary findings indicate a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a single-vehicle ATV with one occupant.
