Newly Purchased Golf Cart Explodes, Destroys Home
According to WBOY, a house on Market Street in Fairmont caught fire Monday morning shortly after the owner had purchased a brand new golf cart, which was the cause of the blaze according to Valley Volunteer Fire Department Deputy Chief Zac Eakle.

Tim Heldreth, who purchased the golf cart earlier Monday morning, said he parked it outside his home on Market Street. After Heldreth then left to visit his sons’ house, his neighbor Sean Stevens called and told him the golf cart was on fire.
