New SP of Pudukottai takes charge

Abhishek Gupta assumed charge as the Superintendent of Police of Pudukottai district on Saturday. He succeeds Vandita Pandey, who has been promoted and posted as Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Dindigul Range. A 2019 batch IPS officer, Mr. Gupta had served as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Tiruppur and Superintendent of Police, Tiruppur district.
