Migration, Ukraine take centre stage at EU summit in Brussels

Despite irregular border crossings into the European Union dropping significantly this year, migration is still seen as a key issue by many member states. EU leaders are meeting in Brussels on Thursday to find ways to tighten the bloc’s policies on migrants and asylum seekers, and also to discuss support for Ukraine.
