Meghan McCain hits 'The View' for not having a pro-Trump conservative host
Meghan McCain, a former co-host on ABC’s “The View,” criticized the show for not having a conservative voice that supports President-elect Trump in the wake of his election win.
“Respectfully, please stop sending me clips from The View,” she wrote in a Friday post. “It’s a radical progressive insane asylum and that is why I left years ago.”
Sara Haines, a current co-host on the show, recently slammed Democrats for their tone and messaging with voters. She said members of the Democratic party should “reflect” on why so many people sided with Trump in the 2024 election.
“It’s condescending, the way that the left speaks to its voters,” Haines stated in a Friday clip.
Co-host Sunny Hostin expressed disappointment with the election outcome on Thursday.
McCain said the “conservative woman” is not adequately represented on the show.
The show’s conservative host, Alyssa Farah Griffin, a White House aide under the Trump administration, shared that she voted for Vice President Harris this election.
“It is actual malfeasance on the part of ABC news that there isn’t one single conservative woman on The View this morning who voted for Trump or simply isn’t repulsed by his supporters to explain to America why he is still so popular,” McCain wrote in a Wednesday post on X.
