Man dies in Mesa crash after speeding on roadway, police say
The crash happened south of Mesa Drive and Southern Avenue.
MESA, Ariz. — A man has died after he crashed his vehicle while speeding on a Mesa roadway, according to an early report from the city police department.
The crash happened on Mesa Drive south of Southern Avenue. Investigators found that the man collided with the median, causing his vehicle to strike a parked van nearby.
The man, whose identity hasn’t been released, was thrown from his vehicle. First responders pronounced him dead on the scene.
No one else was involved in the crash.
