Israeli army admits ‘complete failure’ to prevent October 7 attacks
The Israeli Defense Forces on Thursday acknowledged Hamas’s October 7 attacks as one of its “greatest failures” following an internal investigation. The surprise assault on Israel that left hundreds dead, saw hundreds taken hostage and sparked an all-out war on Gaza came after the army miscalculated Hamas’s military capabilities, an official said.
