I-79 Accident North of Bridgeport Sends One Individual for Medical Treatment, Causes Major Traffic Delays

WBOY reported that a vehicle accident on Interstate 79 in Marion County caused traffic delays Monday morning, Nov. 17.

According to the Marion County 911 communications log, the accident occurred just before 9 a.m. in the northbound lane. The WV511 website stated that the accident was located near mile marker 140 and showed a large amount of traffic.

A Marion County 911 official told 12 News that it was a single-vehicle accident and that one person was transported by ground.
