Hit crime drama ‘Black Snow’ returns with season 2 premiere: How to watch, where to stream free

The highly anticipated crime drama series Black Snow returns to AMC+ with its season two premiere on Thursday, April 24.

To kick off the release, AMC+ is dropping the first two episodes of the season with weekly episodes dropping every Thursday following. Similarly to season one of the series, season two of Black Snow consists of six episodes.

What is Black Snow about?

For those unfamiliar with the series, season one of Black Snow centers on a 1994 murder of a seventeen-year-old girl named Jasmine Baker. The crime shocked the small town of Ashford and devastated Jasmine’s Australian South Sea Islander community.

The case was never solved, and the killer was never found, but in 2019, the opening of a time capsule unearths a secret that puts cold-case Detective James Cormack on the trail of the killer.

Season two brings forth yet another startling case. In the premiere episode, viewers are introduced to a 2003 case involving a girl named Zoe Jacobs. Jacobs disappeared during her 21st birthday party. Many believe that Zoe ran away, but others suspect she was murdered.

Further into the investigation, police officer Sam Kahlil discovers Zoe’s blue backpack and calls in Detective James Cormack to investigate.

Each episode of season two further examines Zoe’s case as Cormack gets closer and closer to finding the truth.
