Harrison County Bridge Project to Reduce Roadway to One Lane for Upgrades; Work to Go to Late Summer

There will be a lane closure on County Route 24, Meadowbrook Road, at the USMC Stephen E. Drummond Memorial Bridge, starting
7:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2026, and lasting until late summer, for construction of bridge deck overlay and an expansion dam replacement. This will be a single lane closure that will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will have a maximum lane width of 11.5 ft.
This will be a LANE Closure and will be maintained with temporary traffic signals.
Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
