Frenchman held in Iran since 2022 reveals identity in audio message

A Frenchman detained in Iran since 2022 revealed his identity in an audio message broadcast on French radio Monday as he called on authorities to help secure his release and that of two other detainees. Olivier Grondeau, who had previously been identified by only his first name, said his strength was “running out”.
