EU outlines new roadmap on marine conservation ahead of UN ocean summit

The European Union on Thursday presented a plan aimed at better protect oceans ahead of a United Nations summit on the subject. The EU wants to take a leadership role in marine conservation, and the plan includes ways to tackle some of the main challenges, like pollution, climate change and illegal fishing.
