Eighteenth Avenue Boutique to Open on Hill Street

On May 10, Hall will open the newest version of her boutique, Eighteenth Avenue, at 102 Hill Street in Bridgeport. Offering clothing, accessories and jewelry reflecting the beautiful, serene coast has been important to her since moving to West Virginia in 2018.
“I quickly realized that styles and shopping options were extremely limited here, so I decided to take the leap and do my own thing,” she said.
With a retail background, Hall opened an online shop in 2019, By 2022, she had her first brick and mortar store inside Market on Main, expanding her merchandise and carrying women’s clothing – from flowing summer dresses to graphic Ts – home décor, gift items and children’s clothing. During her years at that marketplace, Eighteenth Avenue continued to grow. Her store at Market on Main closed in February of 2024.

Hall – who lives with her family on Bridgeport’s outskirts – continues her mission to gather items reminiscent to her South Carolina roots.
“My absolute favorite thing in the world is the beach, so you’ll see a lot of coastal details in everything we do,” she said.
She also strives to offer unique finds.
“I look for merchandise that I think brings something unique and fun to the area,” she said. “The same old stuff we find in the big stores around here can get boring.”
Brands she will carry include but will not be limited to Dear Heart, Sweet Water Decor, Chaudoin Creations, and Pippi Post.
Sharing her faith is important, too.
“Eighteenth Avenue’s biggest goal is to share the love of Jesus, so we carry a lot of Christian items as well.”
She is extremely pleased to be opening her own storefront, right in Bridgeport. Hours are 12-5 Wednesday and Thursday, 12-6 Friday and 9-1 Saturday.
Hours for the Saturday, May 10 grand opening, however, will be from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. Permanent jewelry by Diamond in the Rough will be available on that day.
