Chicken bacon ranch wraps recalled due to possible contamination



Federal officials have issued an alert for ready-to-eat chicken and bacon wraps due to concerns that the products may be contaminated with Listeria.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued the alert for products from Rachael’s Food Corp.

The chicken and bacon ranch wraps were produced on May 2, 2025. Two types of the wraps are affected by the public health warning:

  • 10-oz. clear plastic clamshell packages containing with the label “Big Y quick easy meals Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap.” The product has sell by date of May 7, 2025 with lot code 25122.
  • 10-oz. clear plastic clamshell packages containing with the label “Market 32 By Price Chopper Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap.” The product has a “sell through” date of May 7, 2025 and lot code 25122.

The products have the establishment number “P34657” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These wraps were shipped to distributors in Massachusetts and New York and sold in retail locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.

The agency has not issued a recall because the affected products are no longer available for purchase.
