Defending state champ Celina is coming off a 52-27 win over Alvarado in the Class 4A Division I quarterfinals last week, while Stephenville beat West Plains 41-21.

Stephenville’s win avenged a loss to West Plains in the regional finals last year. Celina has won 30 consecutive games.

The quest for a trip to the 2025 UIL state championships is nearing an end. The finals in all classifications will be played Dec. 17-20 at AT&T Stadium — aka Jerry World (and lately Dallas Stadium) — in Arlington.
