Bridgeport Cemetery Manager Tricia Bombardiere is Recognized by Council for 10 Years of Service to City

At the Monday, Feb. 10 meeting of Bridgeport City Council an employee service award was presented by Mayor Andy Lang on behalf of the city’s governing body.

During the awards and presentations portion of the meeting, Patricia “Tricia” Bombardiere was called to the front of Council chambers to be recognized for her service to the city. The manager of the Bridgeport cemetery was honored for 10 years of service and employment with the city.

“Tricia does a wonderful job,” said Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Director Joe Shuttleworth, whose department oversees the cemetery. “Tricia really excels in difficult situations with families who are grieving and upset.”

Bombardiere was joined in front of Council by her husband Mario and administrative assistant Christa Parker at the end of the presentation. She is one of several employees over the last year who have been honored for milestone anniversaries in a program that was revitalized under former City Manager Brian Newton.
