All Yavapai College campuses on lockdown: Details limited
Yavapai College announced that the closures were due to a police matter “specific to Yavapai College.”
PRESCOTT, Ariz. — Yavapai College announced Monday that all of its campuses and centers were under lockdown due to a police situation. Details are limited right now.
The public community college’s main campus is located in Prescott, with locations in Clarkdale, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Sedona.
The college announced that it will be closed for the rest of the day.
“The College is closed for the day. Employees, students and the public should not enter any college property at this time. If you are already present at the college, please shelter in place,” officials said.
