Algeria summons ambassador after France indicts consular official in dissident's abduction
Algeria summoned the French ambassador after France indicted three officials, including an Algerian consular official, in connection with the April 2024 kidnapping of Amir Boukhors in a Paris suburb. Boukhors, an Algerian influencer and vocal critic of the Algerian regime, is the target of nine international arrest warrants issued by Algiers.
