Alabama schools could be required to allow student-led prayers if voters approve amendment
Alabama lawmakers have passed a proposed constitutional amendment that would require public schools to allow student-led prayers.
The bill, HB511 by Rep. Reed Ingram, R-Matthews, would also require that each school begin the day with the Pledge of Allegiance.
