Russia, Ukraine trade aerial strikes amid fears of escalation

Russia said Monday that it had shot down eight ballistic missiles fired by Ukraine, without saying where, while Russian attacks on Odesa and Kharkiv wounded more than 30, Kyiv said. Ukraine also targeted a Russian fuel depot in the latest wave of attacks since Western countries gave Kyiv permission to use long-range missiles to strike Russian territory.
