Michigan avoided what would have been a major upset on Saturday, with perhaps some assistance from the official.
Bryce Underwood’s 47-yard Hail Mary pass to JJ Buchanan on the game’s final play gave the Wolverines a 13-12 victory. The game-winner came one play after the clock appeared to expire on an incompletion, only for a second to be added back following instant replay review.
