Harrison County Roadway Set to See 10-Day Closure in Area Near Route 50 Due to Paving, Shoulder Work

There will be a road closure on County Route 50/6, Raccoon Run Road, from the junction of County Route 29/2, Halls Run Road, to US
50 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting today, Tuesday, September 1, 2026, to Friday, September 11, 2026, for paving and shoulder work.
Daytime operations only.
This will be a Road Closure and will be maintained with flaggers. Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
