Multiple Vehicle Accidents among Several Calls Taken Care of Recently by First Responder Agency in Area

The Valley Volunteer Fire Department situated on Pleasant Valley Road in Marion County has been busy handling a number of incident, including several on heavily traveled roadways in recent days.

During the course of the last near two weeks, from Monday, there were 11 separate vehicle accidents the volounteers responded to. Several of those accidents were along Interstate 79.

The first responders from the agency also dealt with a tree down with power lines off Colfax Road, numerous fire alarms with two being at Walmart in Whitehall. Valley VFD also assisted the Grafton Fire Department on a structure fire in that city located in Taylor County as part of mutual aid.
