Area Route 50 Delays for Up to Three Hours Sunday; Fiber Optic Line Work to Create Rolling Roadblocks

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS

There will be a rolling roadblock on US 50, located at Doddridge County Middle School, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Sunday, August 16, 2026, for installation of fiber optic lines.

Daytime operations only. Rolling roadblock will operate on 15 minute intervals.

This will be a traffic delay and will be maintained with flaggers. Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.
