Vietnam Airlines Takes Delivery of Fifth Boeing 787-10 Aircraft

Vietnam Airlines took delivery of its fifth
Boeing 787-10 aircraft on Wednesday.
The new plane, the 30th wide-body aircraft to join
the flag carrier’s fleet, has a length of over 68 meters, a
payload of 56-60 tons and a maximum range of nearly 12,000 km.
The aircraft has been configured with a two-class
layout, featuring 24 seats in Business Class and 343 seats in
Economy Class.
The Business Class cabin
has a staggered herringbone layout, providing each passenger with direct aisle access.
Fully convertible flat-bed seats with a generous seat pitch and
a recline of up to 180 degrees are ideal for
long-haul journeys.
Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787-10
Features include personal entertainment devices with touch screens,
an array of entertainment options, dimmable windows with five
settings, reading lights, USB ports, spacious footrest and
storage compartments.
The Boeing 787-10 also boasts a range of technological
advancements and modern amenities tailored to enhance the overall passenger
experience. Highlights include a spacious cabin, comfortable seats,
large overhead bins and windows, a modern entertainment system,
adjustable LED lighting, lower cabin altitude, cleaner air, higher
humidity, and improved temperature control.

In addition to the five Boeing 787-10s, Vietnam
Airlines also operates 11 Boeing 787-9s and 14
Airbus A350s in the wide-body category.
The airline mainly deploys
wide-body aircraft on flights to Northeast Asia, Europe,
Australia, and the US, as well as between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh
(Saigon).
