Missing 10-Year-Old safely located in Tennessee, West Palm Beach Police say

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A 10-year-old boy reported missing over the weekend has been safely located, according to the West Palm Beach Police Department.

Police announced Sunday that Thiago A. Lopez Velasquez was found safe in Tennessee.

Thiago was reported missing after he was last seen around 5 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of 45th Street in West Palm Beach.

Investigators had said they believed the child was traveling with 28-year-old Evelin Velasquez in a 2025 silver Toyota RAV4 with a South Carolina license plate and that the pair may have been headed to Tennessee.

Police did not immediately release additional details about the circumstances surrounding Thiago’s disappearance or how he was located.
