Alabama appeals court rules against movie company; ‘This decision is bad for business’
The Alabama Court of Civil Appeals on Friday upheld a lower court’s decision to dismiss a case filed by a movie company that sought a rebate for production costs paid in Alabama.
War Paint Movie LLC applied for the rebate from the Alabama Film Office under the Alabama Entertainment Industry Incentive Act of 2009.
