Former Auburn defensive tackle Jayson Jones signs his first NFL contract
The Baltimore Ravens announced the signing of 17 undrafted rookies on Sunday, including former Auburn defensive tackle Jayson Jones.
Jones played at Calera High School, where he was an Under Armour All-American in 2019. Jones had been a first-team All-State selection as an offensive tackle for the Eagles in 2017.
Jones spent his first two college seasons at Oregon before returning to his home state to play three seasons as Auburn’s nose tackle.
Baltimore is concluding its rookie minicamp on Monday. In addition to the 17 newly signed rookies, the Ravens also have 11 2025 draft picks in their rookie class, including former Alabama A&M standout Carson Vincent.
Baltimore announced Vincent, along with eight of its other draft picks, had signed their first NFL contracts. As the 141st pick in the NFL Draft on April 26, Vinson got a four-year, $4.669 million contract.
Baltimore released a rookie minicamp roster of 36 players, including Darrion Dalcourt, a guard from Alabama. Dalcourt spent his first NFL season in 2024 on the Ravens’ practice squad without appearing in a regular-season game.
Baltimore did not announce the players who are attending its rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.
