Lane Closure to Impact I-79 and I-68 into Friday with Demolition of Piers on Uffington Bridge Scheduled

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT FOUR OFFICE

There will be a lane closure from the southbound Interstate 79 off ramp at Exit 148 onto Interstate 68 eastbound from 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, until 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, for the demolition of phase 1 piers of the Uffington Bridge. During this time the ramp will operate with one lane open. Daytime operations only. 

Expect minor delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Inclement weather or unforeseen  circumstances could change the project schedule.
