Hamas on Thursday rejected Israel’s latest truce offer, demanding a “comprehensive” deal to end the 18-month war. The group’s chief negotiator spoke after Gaza rescuers said Israeli strikes killed at least 40 people, mostly women and children, in renewed attacks.
