Delays Likely as One of Heaviest Traveled Sections of Route 50 Near City to See Days of Pothole Repairs

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT FOUR OFFICE

There will be a lane closure on US Route 50, for eastbound and westbound lanes, from milepost 81.50 to milepost 82.75, beginning at 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Monday, April 14, 2025, through Thursday, April 17, 2025, for pothole patching. 

This will be at the top of Bridgeport Hill at the light to Emily Drive. 

Editor’s Note: As this is one of the most heavily utilized local sections of U.S. Route 50, motorists can likely expect delays.
